Note: The info provided regarding
the University of Missouri- Rolla did not have enough
information to write a testimonial from. Also, the first
listing below is for a cattle auction company. It came
to us titled as a Major U.S. University but something
smells funny about this one.
Challenge: We conduct major
auctions for different cattle companies across the United
States. We encountered many obstacles to making the
process run smoothly. We needed to use the same dial-in
number for all the bidders at the auctions and we needed
to identify and bill each separate company that was
represented for each different cattle auction.
Scope of the Work: The
Conference Depot designed a custom dial-in number for
all the bidders and created a billing system that identified
each separate company whose cattle were being auctioned
on that particular call. The Conference Depot also provided
a custom jingle on each call to promote the auction
company and the special event.
Result: After years of
billing problems, we no longer experience billing confusion
and the calls always run perfectly. We really appreciate
the extra custom jingle that was added to an already
positive experience. Our sales are growing and other
companies that have been on our calls are using The
Conference Depot to provide similar auction services.
Challenge: We had a challenge
with our "distance learning" classroom we
offered our students. We are a State University that
offers distance learning because of extreme distances
our students are located. We also provide distance learning
to our students because of our extreme weather conditions.
Our problem was that we were trying to maintain our
own conference bridge and all the IT and Telco issues
that go along with that maintenance. We were constantly
running out of port capacity. We had to employ a number
of IT and telecommunications specialists to keep it
running properly. Our overall costs were going through
the roof.
Scope of Work: We were recommended
by another University in our state to The Conference
Depot. They provided us with unlimited port capacity
and a very low price. We also allowed all our students
to dial in a toll free 800 number and after each class
we obtained an email report that detailed, who was on
the call and for how long.
Scope of Work: It's been
two years since we switched and our overall costs have
gone down for providing our Distance Learning. Our students
are satisfied and complaints about not being able to
attend a class are nonexistent. Thanks to the efforts
of The Conference Depot, our students are signing up
because of our Distance Learning programs in record
numbers.
