Challenge: We are a public
company. Four times each year we have an important Investor
Relations call that requires a combination of web PowerPoint
presentations and live audio connections with a Q&A
period at the conclusion of the presentation. This is
a sensitive call and is required to be perfect. It includes
live introductions, the tracking of participant information,
live web casting to over 500 participants, controlling
of questions and answers, and the web presentation of
material with elements synchronized for high visual
impact. It requires recording and archiving the event
to allow participants to access it from our web page
for any investor that missed the original call or those
who wanted to review various parts of the call. This
is a highly demanding technical event. In the past,
we have experienced problems from erratic web connections
to non-professional moderation of the call itself, not
to mention how costly the live events turned out to
be from major U.S. carriers we have tried over the years.
Scope of Work: The Conference
Depot designed a combination audio/web conferencing
solution that included a perfect web presentation with
live audio and live web casting to those 300-plus participants
who joined only online. The presentation was originally
pre-recorded but appeared to be live to the audience.
TCD wanted to eliminate any possible web presentation
mistakes and wanted to experience no bandwidth issues
while alleviating any possible hook up problems. TCD
live moderators trained with our staff members prior
to the real call to make sure all of the details that
make a call perfect were agreed upon, understood, and
executed according to plan. The Conference Depot used
a combination of new technology and good old-fashion
practice by their moderator and the officers of our
company to help us prepare for a quality presentation.
Result: Half the cost, twice
the results. The Conference Depot performs a perfect

The web presentation was virtually flawless. TCD technology
helped us create the perfect presentation. The live
moderator collected all pertinent information from the
participants, passed this information to us in a timely
manner and made all the sensitive introductions for
our call. The coordination of the Q & A session along
with the control of the audience interaction was very
professional and has succeeded in making our company
appear very professional and well worth investing money

times we have up to five different speakers located
at different places around the world. This call requires
the ability to connect international speakers and participants
on a global scale. Our calls include live introductions,
the sensitive collection of participant information,
and the management and control of a question and answer
period near the end of the call. We also require a recording
of the event that can be later accessed through our
web page as a web cast. In the past, we have experienced
international connection problems and poor management
of the overall call from the major U.S. carriers we
have tried over the years.

Depot provides audio conferencing solutions for both
national and international participants that includes;
operator dial-out to connect special speakers and 800
international dial-in numbers from many of our international
locations. The Conference Depot provides practice sessions
with the live moderator who will help manage the Earnings
Call. This practice session is just one of the small
things they do to make a conference call perfect. All
aspects of the calls are clearly defined and spelled
out in advance so the small, important details of the
call are not lost (such as making the correct pronunciation
of difficult international names of some of our speakers).
TCD provides prompt return of the participant information
along with the recording ready for web cast. It is then
placed on our web page for easy access of the Earnings
Call for those that want to review it or those who may
have missed the call. The Earnings Call recording can
also be accessed by dialing an 800 or 300 area code
number to listen by telephone following the live call.
Result: The Conference Depot
operators are second to none. Highly professional live
operators collected sensitive information from the participants
that we asked for and promptly passed this information
to us following our call. The moderator for the call
managed the call without incident in a highly competent
and confident manner. The recording was perfect. TCD
was also able to add a visual presentation to the web
cast after the call was finished. It is amazing
that The Conference Depot can offer such high quality
service at such a low cost.
