How can I reach customer support?
Call our technical support hotline day or night and speak live with one of our experts. Dial toll-free to or e-mail info@theconferencedepot.com. You can reach an operator at any time during your teleconferencing session by pressing *0 on your telephone keypad. All of our teleconferencing services are fully supported.

Who do I contact for billing questions?
If you have billing, account and or feature support needs, contact your dedicated account manager or any member of the account management team at or info@theconferencedepot.com.

I did not receive and/or lost my moderator card. How can I get a replacement?
Speak to any of our account managers at or e-mail info@theconferencedepot.com.

How can I add or deactivate moderators on my companies account?
E-mail your dedicated account manager the necessary moderator information or contact the account management team at info@theconferencedepot.com.

How do I begin an On Demand conference call?
Simply dial the toll-free number provided on your conferencing card and enter the conference ID and PIN when prompted.

How do participants join my teleconferencing session?
Distribute the same toll-free number and conference ID to your meeting participants. If you have not yet entered your PIN, participants will be placed on hold until you arrive.

Do I need a reservation to begin a conference call?
No. Your moderator account is available to you at any time without advanced notice or scheduling.

Are there any teleconferencing setup charges?
Since no reservations are required for On Demand, there are no cancellation fees. You pay only for what you use.

Do I need a new conference ID and PIN every time I start a new conference?
No. Once you have signed up and received your conference ID and PIN, they remain the same every time you start a conference call.

How many people can participate in an On Demand conference?
125 people can participate on the phone and thousands can listen over the web using our webcasting feature.

What if my conference call has more than 125 participants on the phone?
Copper Conferencing (formerly The Conference Depot) offers operator assisted conferencing services to simplify and streamline your conference calls that need special attention or additional capacity. Can I control the conference using commands on my telephone keypad?
Yes, these commands are listed on the back of your moderator card. See the quick reference guide for a listing of the commands, when, and how to use them.We want to make sure that all of our teleconferencing services are flexible and easy to use. Please let us know if there is any question we have not sufficiently answered in our FAQ’s.

Do my participants pay for playback or do I?
All conference playbacks are billed to the moderator who facilitated and recorded the conference.

How do I start a conference over the web?
Simply go to www.theconferencedepot.com and click on 'Start a Meeting.' You will be prompted to enter your conference ID and PIN. Access any of the menu items listed or start conferencing right away by selecting 'Start Conferencing.'

How do I upload a PowerPoint presentation?
Uploading a PowerPoint presentation takes just a few minutes. See the quick reference guide for step-by-step instructions.

What are the minimum requirements for On Demand?

  • A Computer with at least a 28.8 Kbps Internet connection
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or higher or Netscape Navigator 4.x or higher
  • RealPlayer® G2 or higher
  • Firewalls and proxy servers can often cause difficulties with Internet services. If you have potential firewall or proxy issues, please call or technical support team at 1-888-966-8686.

Do participants need the software that moderators are using during their presentation to see the images presented?
Participants do not need to have any special software. Back-end processes ensure that all participants can see the images in both live and archived events. However, participants must have RealPlayerš G2 or higher downloaded to access a live or recorded webcast.

How much storage space do I have for my files and recorded conferences?
Your storage space is unlimited. However, individual slide presentations must be 30 MB or smaller. If you have a presentation larger than 30 MB, you can always split it into parts.

What are the teleconferencing options with On Demand?
You have the option of utilizing basic teleconferencing, video teleconferencing, Internet teleconferencing, and audio teleconferencing services. Any of these teleconferencing services will likely get the job done for you but it’s important to be clear about your objectives before you choose the best teleconferencing approach for your situation.
